About Us
Trabuco Canyon Little League was formed in 1994 and played its first games in 1995. The League was created due to continued and projected growth of Rancho Santa Margarita and the Trabuco Canyon Communities.  The League started with a little over 500 players and has continued to grow to over 750 players supporting the communities of Coto de Caza, Wagon Wheel, Las Flores, and Stonecliffe.

Trabuco Canyon Little League offers the opportunity for children 6 to 18 years of age to play baseball and is part of Little League's District 68.  In the first two years play was limited to several school sites and the two main fields inside the gates of Coto de Caza.

In 1996, ground was broken on one of the most ambitious field development programs ever undertaken in Orange County. The goal was clear, provide a playing facility that would support the needs of Trabuco Canyon Little League, Rancho Trabuco Softball (Formerly Bobby Sox) and AYSO Region 630. On March 1, 1997, Opening Day ceremonies were held at the four newly created baseball fields AYSO started using the facility in August of 1997 and Rancho Trabuco Softball in April of 1998.

While they prefer to remain somewhat anonymous, a group named "The Consolidated Youth Sports Council" (CYSC) was responsible for the coordination, construction and development of the Wagon Wheel Park complex. This volunteer group works with the Saddleback Valley School District to coordinate the activities on multiple locations through out the community.
