TCLL Winter Training Clinic

What is it?
Join us for the 3-day Winter Baseball Training Clinic at Wagon Wheel Sports Park. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, this in-person event is perfect for anyone looking to improve their skills on the field. With over 13 years of Divison 1 college baseball coaching under his belt (schools like San Diego State, Cal State Long Beach, Cal State Fullerton), Danny Benedetti and his coaching team will be organizing this camp to really focus on all disciplines across all division (ages 4-14). A portion of the proceeds will go to our league as part of our fundraising efforts (remember, our leage is 100% self-funded and run by volunteers). Current college baseball players will also be in attendance from Cal State Fullerton to assist and lead our athletes by example.

When is it?
Camp will be held from Wednesday, December 27th through Friday, December 29th. Check-in will start at 7:30 each morning and the Camp will run from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day.

Who can participate?
All attendees must have been registered to play in any District 68 Little League's Spring 2023 season. We invite all athletes ages 4 to 14 from Ladera Ranch Little League, North Mission Viejo Little League, Viejo Little League, Santa Margarita Little League, San Clemente Little League, San Juan Capistrano Little League, South Mission Viejo Little League, and Trabuco Canyon Little League.

What do athletes need to bring?
All athletes need to bring their own glove, bat, and helmet. Batting gloves are recommended, but not mandatory. If athletes intend to work on catching, they will need to bring their own catcher's gear.

What does each day look like?
Nothing is set in stone, but typically the morning session will be getting all athletes through different stations rotating through each of the positions (infield, outfield, catching, hitting, baserunning, etc.). There will be a lunch break (it is optional to have lunch provided for $10 per day or $25 for all three days) then the afternoon session will start with more focused/detailed practice on disciplines followed by a wiffle ball game.
